DRAINING BASE MATERIAL, ROOF GREENING FACILITY AND ROOF GREENING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof greening facility having sufficient draining performance and decreased weight. SOLUTION: The draining base material 30 of the roof greening facility is a three-dimensional woven or knit fabric wherein at least one of the front and back ground textures 31 and 32 has a mesh structure and the front and back ground textures are connected to each other by a connection yarn 33 to secure a thick gauge containing gaps. The draining base material 30 is laid on a root-proofing sheet laid on the roof, a soil layer is formed on the base material and a plant is grown on the soil layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
