An over-voltage protection terminal with coarse- and fine-protection element in a cylindrical housing. The housing is divided in the transverse direction, in which in the first housing part (1) the circuit board (2) is fixed with at least one terminal (3), which extends out of the first housing part with its connection elements and is thus freely accessible. Further, a second housing part covers the free-terminal region with which the first housing part can be connected tightly connected, and in which the outer frontal end of the second housing part is designed as a connection adapter for a cable screw connection.
