摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance contamination resistance and coating film adhesiveness by forming a primer layer and a top layer using a silica based binder with its molecular weight distribution of a molecular assembly properly managed. <P>SOLUTION: In the photocatalyst-coated metal plate, a primer layer containing an inorganic pigment and a top layer containing a photocatalyst and inorganic pigment are successively formed on a substrate surface, and a coating film surface is provided with fine cracks originating from a silica based binder containing a molecular assembly of 300 or more of molecular weight expressed in terms of styrene. The top layer is formed, after forming the primer layer by applying the primer coating material containing a silica based binder and an inorganic pigment dispersed toner on the coating original plate, by applying a top coating material containing a silica based binder, silane treated photocatalyst-powder and an inorganic pigment dispersed toner to the primer layer, and baking the top coating material.
