<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of further improving one-handed operability of a cellphone, a portable information terminal or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In this electric opening/closing mechanism 1, by only push operation of an operation button 14, a first clutch K1 is disengaged, a second clutch K2 is engaged, an electric drive means 2 is operated, and opening/closing of a second member 4 can be automatically executed by the electric drive means 2. By the push operation of the operation button 14, the second member (e.g. a liquid crystal display panel) 4 is automatically turned to an arbitrary position with respect to a first member (e.g. a main body with a plurality of keys) 3.
