<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the reduction in the carry when the upper part of the face is hit. <P>SOLUTION: This wood type golf club head has a frequency of 700 to 1,200 Hz showing a first degree minimum value of the frequency transfer function which is measured by a vibration method, and also, a real loft angle of 5 to 12°. The ten point average roughness Rzu of a face upper region 2u forming a crown part 4 side from a sweet spot S of the face surface 2 is less than 1.5μm, and also, a ten point average roughness Rzd of a face lower region 2d forming a sole part 5 side from the sweet spot S of the face surface 2 is from 1.5 to 10μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
