<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking system capable of efficiently and precisely acquiring the marking result of a mock examination by using an electronic pen, and performing a processing such as tabulation. <P>SOLUTION: According to this marking system, a marker enters a marking symbol such as○or×by use of the electronic pen to an answer sheet where answers are entered by an examinee or the like to mark the answers. The stroke of the marking symbol drawn on the answer sheet is acquired as marking data, and inputted to the marking system. In the marking system, the strokes corresponding to the marking symbol and a correction symbol are extracted, and symbol information showing the characteristic of each of the marking symbol and correction symbol is referred to, whereby a stroke concerned is recognized. As the recognition result, the marking symbol or correction symbol corresponding to the stroke concerned is specified. On the basis of the thus-obtained recognition result, a marking result is specified and outputted. Accordingly, data of the marking result can be generated only by entering the marking symbols on the answer sheet with the electronic pen by the marker, and used for the subsequent tabulation or analysis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
