<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation input device having a screen display part and using a touch panel with a screen display part whose operability is increased. <P>SOLUTION: A sensing means is provided for sensing pressure applied to the touch panel. When the sensing means senses that the panel is pressed with a predetermined load or more, an operational input is accepted and operation control is effected correspondingly to the operational input. Also, transparent electrodes are provided on the front surface of the screen display part. The surface of the touch panel has projections.
