<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new parking charge payment device capable of reducing investment costs at the start of a parking lot business, suppressing the narrowing of each parking space, improving user's convenience, and eliminating the need of collecting money from respective devices. <P>SOLUTION: The parking charge payment device 30 is provided with a card insertion port 31 into which a payment card for paying a parking charge is inserted, slots 32, 33 into which bills/coins are charged, a display part 38 for displaying operation methods and other guide information, and operation parts 39-51. The device 30 has, in its inside, a card issuing mechanism for issuing at least one of season cards 100-103 having recording parts in which validity term information 100d-103 is recorded and prepaid cards 104, 105 having recording parts in which available balance information 104b, 105b is recorded.
