PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image delivery system that uses, as data delivery terminals, a communication terminal such as a cellular telephone, and a data transmission/reception, browsing and storage terminal such as a PDA, and prevents unauthorized use of the PDA or the like even if it is lost. SOLUTION: The image delivery system has a data delivery server for accumulating and managing image data for every user, a terminal adapter having a unique ID and capable of transmitting the ID to the data delivery server, and an image input device such as a digital camera having a unique ID and capable of returning the unique ID at the request of the terminal adapter.
