PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of both-sided recording in which the production of discharge products and toner scattering due to discharge are prevented with simple constitution. SOLUTION: A transfer means 24 of transferring a toner image formed on a photoreceptor drum 1 from a 1st intermediate transfer belt 10 to a 2nd intermediate transfer belt 20 or to a surface of a form is provided as a contact type transfer roller in a loop of the 2nd intermediate transfer belt 20. A transfer means 14 of transferring the toner image temporarily transferred to the 2nd intermediate transfer belt 20 to the rear surface of the form is provided as a contact type transfer roller in a loop of the 1st intermediate transfer belt 10. The transfer rollers 14 and 24 are contact type transfer means and generate no ozone unlike a transfer charger and prevent toner scattering due to discharge. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
