PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of which the assembling efficiency of a casing can be enhanced without lowering the strength of the casing. SOLUTION: A compressor 7, an outdoor heat exchanger 15, and an outdoor blower 17 are stored in the casing opened on the rear side, the outdoor heat exchanger 15 is disposed on the rear side, and a reinforcing plate 31 is disposed on the upper surface of the outdoor heat exchanger 15.
