PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device capable of preventing the generation of noises and the occurrence of a loss of synchronism even when a single driving source is used, and an image reading/recording device equipped with the same. SOLUTION: By driving force generated by the driving source, a first sheet feeding means 19 and a second sheet feeding means 15 respectively feeding sheets 2, 12 loaded on a first loading means 8 and a second loading means 11 are driven, When the first sheet feeding means 19 and the second feeding means 15 having difference in necessary torque are driven by the single driving source, a controlling means controls the driving source so as to change driving force according to a case of driving the first sheet feeding means 19 or the second sheet feeding means 15.
