PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cover material for electronic equipment realizing the facilitation of the exchange of a light source lamp while intercepting an EMI generating source, and to provide the housing of electronic equipment and a projector. SOLUTION: The cover member 16 is the cover material for electronic equipment attached to an outside case and is equipped with a cover member main body 161 and a shielding plate 162 provided inside the main body 161 and intercepting electromagnetic wave. A falling preventing part 1621 preventing the falling of an attaching screw 163 used in the case of attaching the cover material to the outside case is formed on the plate 162.
