PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of deformation or breakage of an elastic contact piece due to interference with foreign substances, resulting in poor contact between a terminal fitting and a fuse, by preventing the foreign substances from interfering with the elastic contact piece. SOLUTION: A terminal fitting 20 comprises a pair of right and left side walls 25 rising from a bottom wall 24 to an inter-terminal space 12 side. A part of the side wall 25 is cut and raised toward the inside, thereby forming a pair of elastic contact pieces 30. The side wall 25 is provided with a frame-like part 32 that follows an opening edge of an opening part 31 formed by cutting and raising the elastic contact piece 30. Even if a foreign substance approaches the elastic contact piece 30, it only abuts with the frame-like part 32, not abutting with the elastic contact piece 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
