PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of measuring simulatively and highly accurately the torque around the rotation axis of a can lid or a chuck, and having excellent reproducibility. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an end holder 30 positioned on the lower face side of the can lid 40 of a drink can, for interfitting the can lid 40, the chuck 16 abutting on the upper face side of the can lid 40, for sandwiching the can lid 40 from the upper and lower directions cooperatively with the end holder 30, a rotating mechanism 22 for rotating relatively the end holder 30 and the chuck 16, and a torque sensor 20 for measuring the torque around the rotation axis of the end holder 30 or the chuck 16 at a relative rotation time between the end holder 30 and the chuck 16.
