The current rail includes a conductive contact rail (1), two opposing legs (11) and two opposing shoulders (12). The two legs define a receptacle (13). The shoulders extend inwards from the lower sides of the legs and define an opening (14) connected to the receptacle. An insulating body (2) is arranged in the receptacle and has an opening (24) aligned with the opening of the contact rail. a conductive current rail (3) is arranged in the insulating body and is laid through the opening in the insulating body.
