The machine for securing the ends of sausages has a clip (2) mounted on a plunger (1) which cooperates with a female mold. The clip is first released from a feed into a transport unit (5) which feeds it to the mold. It is than released from the unit and bent together in the mold. The movement of the plunger is controlled by a cam (15).
