PURPOSE: A method for constructing a fashion database having a parallel-distributed structure is provided to make a user meet a trend of fashion and design on the world by offering the information for the fashion/design field fast and accurately, and make fashion companies understand customer's needs by informing the world trend. CONSTITUTION: The fashion database comprises a news item, a trade show item, a catwalk item, a think-tank item, a city-by-city item, a what's-in-store item, an active market item, and an administrator item. The news item includes daily news, a special article, and an industrial report. The trade show item includes the contents and the schedules for various international shows. The catwalk item includes a fashion show schedule of each designer, photos, reviews, and seasonal general reviews. The think-tank item presents the color/textile/customer propensity after two years. The what's-in-shop item analyzes the color and a style by a shop photo report of the important fashion cities.
