<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact power supply which can surely prevent a metal from overheating by crossing the magnetic flux via the metal from a primary side to a secondary side by immediately stopping the drive of the primary side if the metal is interposed between the primary side and the secondary side. <P>SOLUTION: If the metal is interposed between the primary side and the secondary side, the non-contact power supply includes a means for sensing the presence of the metal, and a control means for automatically stopping the drive of the primary side when the presence of the metal is sensed by the means for sensing the presence of the metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
