<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide broadcast storing and viewing apparatus which can automatically select a plurality of types of multiple video equipment in response to a request from a user. <P>SOLUTION: The broadcast storing and viewing apparatus is provided with a network, a network management apparatus for managing the network and a plurality of types of video devices connected to the network, wherein each of the plurality of types of video devices sends status thereof to the network, and the network management apparatus stores the states. Each of the plurality of types of video devices inquires the states of the other video devices to the network management apparatus and then determines the video device to be a next communication partner based upon the states of the other video devices obtained from the network management apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
