PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for polishing an inside surface of a long pipe, which is applicable to precleaning for painting the inside of the long pipe vertically disposed and having inner diameters multistepwise varied. SOLUTION: The device for polishing the inside surface of the long pipe is provided with at least a working part 100 to be freely inserted in the long pipe. The working part 100 comprises: a fixing means A for fixing to the inside surface, which is formed of a working rod 1a housed in a cylinder 1 and movable forward and backward, and clamping arms 2 and 3 to be developed and folded by the forward and backward movement of the working rod 1a; and a rotatively brushing means B developably mounted on the end of the fixing means A.
