PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of wasteful material by effectively using a carrier. SOLUTION: A crimp terminal 10 comprises a band-like conductive connection part 11, and a crimping part 12 which is integrally formed as rising each of both side edges of the connection part 11 and is conductive to a core wire 31 of an electric wire 30, with a cut provided to a coat of the electric wire 30. In manufacturing the crimp terminal 10, a single metal plate material is firstly punched out by a press, to form a long band-like carrier and multiple plate-like crimp forming base pieces protruding in cantilever manner from each of both side edges of the carrier, flush with the carrier surface, thus forming the connection part 11 with the carrier.
