PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damaging to the recording surface of a disk recording medium caused by the tilting disk recording medium in a disk cartridge or when pushing in a shutter or an inner rotor with fingers or the like. SOLUTION: This disk cartridge is constituted in such a manner that an optical disk is housed in an inner rotor 12 rotatably arranged between the upper and lower shells, and a pair of shutters 13, 14 are disposed to open/close the bottom opening 17 of the lower shell by the rotation of the inner rotor 12. Shutter reinforcing ribs 59, 60 are integrally formed along the contact edges 13a, 14a with which the pair of shutters 13, 14 are brought into contact when they are closed.
