PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer an imaging apparatus in which simple scattering imaging is performed only by improving a light source equipment and the inside of a processor on the premise that an existing endoscope optical system is utilized as it is. SOLUTION: An image processing circuit 30 is constituted by providing a spectral estimator 52 which obtains data required for a spectral presumption from a data supply unit 51 for presumption while each image datum is inputted and presumes the spectrum of each pixel, a scattering trait calculating section 54 which calculates some scattering traits based on the spectrum of each pixel from the spectral estimator 52 and data required for trait calculation from a data supply unit 53 for trait calculation, and a color image preparation section 55 which performs display color calculation based on a scattering trait image from the scattering trait calculating section 54, and determines RGB values of each pixel and outputs a RGB image so as to display the scattering trait as a color image.
