PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape-like yarn which comprises cellulosic fibers, has the excellent hygroscopicity of a cellulosic raw material, forms the uneven surface of a woven or knitted fabric, and is suitable for summer clothing. SOLUTION: This tape-like yarn comprising the cellulosic fibers is characterized by paralleling cellulosic fiber spun yarns having various counts in the order of the counts, and then adhering the adjacent spun yarns to each other with an adhesive. Further, the tape-like yarn comprising multi-layered cellulosic fibers and having an approximately wedge type cross section is obtained by adhering various counts of cellulosic fiber spun yarns in a multi-layered shape. A method for producing the tape-like yarn comprising the cellulosic fibers is characterized by arranging and guiding the cellulosic fiber spun yarns having the various counts into yarn guides, paralleling the spun yarns, making an adhesive solution adhere to the paralleled spun yarns, paralleling the treated spun yarns on a guide roller, and then blowing hot air on the paralleled spun yarns to dry and make the yarns adhere into the tape-like shape.
