FLUORORESIN COMPOSITION

A resin composition suitable for molding sliding parts which not only retain lubricity and heat resistance but are excellent in frictional/wearing resistance and compressive creep resistance. The fluororesin composition comprises: a tetrafluoroethylene polymer; zinc oxide whiskers; and a particulate filler having an average particle diameter of 200 µm or smaller and/or a fibrous filler having an average fiber length of 500 µm or shorter. The zinc oxide whiskers preferably comprise tetrapod-shaped ones. The filler preferably is at least one member selected from the group consisting of carbon fibers, coke powder, graphite powder, bronze powder, copper powder, zinc oxide powder, talc, and glass fibers.
