<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium to be recorded which has a high image density, exhibits a good color tone and ink absorbing properties, effectively prevents a recorded image from discoloring and color-fading, and suppresses change of properties of an anti-oxidant and discoloration of a white ground part caused by oxidation. <P>SOLUTION: At least one layer of an ink receiving layer is formed on at least one face of a substrate in the medium to be recorded.
