<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment method and its device, effectively reducing the charged amount of solid fuel such as coke, coal, wood coal or carbide. <P>SOLUTION: The waste treatment device 1 comprises a measuring hopper 2 for measuring the charged amount of wastes to be treated such as general or industrial wastes and that of the solid fuel such as coke or coal, a charge hopper 3 into which the wastes and the solid fuel measured by the measuring hopper 2 are charged, a melting furnace 4 for melting the wastes charged into the charge hopper 3 at a high temperature until rendering them harmless, a charge dumper 5 arranged between the charge hopper 3 and the melting furnace 4 and having a multistage partition valve 9 for allowing the wastes and the solid fuel charged into the charge hopper 3 to be charged into the melting furnace 4 without the flow-out of furnace gas to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
