<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic brake booster, especially for an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic brake booster has a contactor 42 mounted to an end of a control rod 22 slidably along a plunger 32, and a pivoting key 62 immobilizing means for blocking the contactor 42 in a normal braking state in the axial line direction with respect to the plunger, reducing length of an assembly of the plunger and the contactor in an emergency braking state, and blocking it to increase jumping phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
