<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new medicinal use using MITE. <P>SOLUTION: A mast cell death inducer or mast cell-related disease-preventing or treating agent contains a fused protein comprising PTD and MITF mutant as an active ingredient. In the fused protein comprising HisTag, PTD and MITF mutant, the MITF mutant is the mi mutant of MITF, wh mutant, HLH fragment or type A N-terminal region (1 to 305) fragment, and PTD is a peptide originated from TAT. DNA encodes the fused protein. The method for producing the fused protein uses a genetic engineering means. The fused protein is transferred into a mast cell to exhibit an action for inhibiting the activity of endogenous MITF, an action for inhibiting the existence of the mast cell from a precursor cell, an action for inducing mature cell into cell death (apoptosis), and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
