<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new manufacturing method which permits use of a resin hardly imposing a load on the environment, the human body or the like and having performances comparable to heretofore-known rosin-modified phenolic resins without particular limitation and easily gives a resin varnish for a printing ink having a high viscosity, a high crosslinking density and uniformity and generating no insoluble matter that has been hardly manufacturable by conventional manufacturing processes. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the resin varnish for the printing ink comprises dispersing and dissolving a crosslinking agent (A) in a solvent (B), subsequently adding a heat-melted product (C) of a rosin ester resin compound and/or a heat-melted product (D) of a polar group-containing hydrocarbon resin compound thereto and mixing them. The used amount of (A) is caused to be 0.3-10 pts. wt. based on 100 pts. wt. of the total amount of (C) and (D). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
