PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drivability and make performable an appropriate driving force control without giving a driver a sense of incongruity by providing the driver with travel environment information suitable for respective occasions of selecting an automatic transmission mode and a manual transmission mode. SOLUTION: A driving force control device is provided with a travel environment information output device outputting the travel environment information for a vehicle, an automatic transmission control device controlling an automatic transmission based on the travel environment information, a transmission mode switching means switching a transmission mode of the automatic transmission, and an information device changing a method of informing a user of the change gear ratio of the automatic transmission in accordance with the transmission mode.
