PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect phosphor even with low sensitivity, and to miniaturize a DNA reading device. SOLUTION: This optical DNA sensor 11 is provided with a solid-state imaging device 2, and a plurality of kinds of spot 60 fixed to a surface of the solid-state imaging device 2. The solid-state imaging device 2 is formed by arranging a plurality of DG-Tr20s in matrix on a transparent substrate 17. The plurality of DG-Tr20s are coated with a protecting insulation layer 31 and a conductor layer 32. The spots 60 are a group of multiple probe DNA fragments having a well-known nucleotide arrangement, and the multiple probe DNA fragments contained in one spot 60 have the same nucleotide arrangement each other. The nucleotide arrangement of the probe DNA fragments is different for each spot 60. The spot 60 is fixed corresponding to the DG-Tr20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
