PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply device for obtaining an optimum blanking period in an entire load range. SOLUTION: An on-time blanking pulse generator circuit 31 generates a blanking pulse signal (e) based on an error voltage signal VEAO, and has a blanking period in response to a load state. For example, the voltage value of the error voltage signal VEAO is compared with a reference voltage. At a light load time, or when the voltage value of the error voltage signal VEAO becomes the reference voltage or lower, the blanking pulse signal (e) with short blanking period is generated.
