PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing for a water pump which is compact, light in weight, having high moment load resistance and inexpensively manufactured. SOLUTION: A pulley side raceway P for receiving moment load from the pulley is formed to be a double raw ball raceway and a distance L between pitches of respective raceway grooves (1x, 1y, 2x, 2y) forming the double raw ball raceway is formed to be smaller than a diameter D of the ball (L<D). This configuration can provide the bearing for a water pump which is light, compact, and capable of high rotation regardless of having the moment load resistance equivalent to that when a cylindrical roller bearing is adopted to the pulley side.
