PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition having high malodor suppressing effect on a textile such as a clothing. SOLUTION: This detergent composition comprises a surface coated particle prepared by coating a granulated particle containing a clay mineral and which supports at least one selected from the group consisting of an antibacterial substance, an anti-oxidant substance and a deodorizing substance with a surface coating agent.
