PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for economically producing an olefin-based resin composition having desired fluidity and excellent flexibility. SOLUTION: The method for producing the olefin-based resin composition comprises heat-treating a resin composition (X) which has (A) an amorphousα-olefin-based resin consisting of (a1) an amorphousα-olefin copolymer composed of two or more kinds ofα-olefin units and (a2) an amorphous ethylene-α-olefin copolymer composed of ethylene and two or more kinds ofα-olefin units and (B) a crystallineα-olefin-based resin in the ratio of 1-90 wt.% of the amount of the component (A) and 99-10 wt.% of the amount of the component (B) based on 100 wt.% of the total of the component (A) and the component (B) in the presence of (C) 0.01-10 parts wt. of a peroxide based on 100 parts wt. of the total of the component (A) and the component (B) at 210-300°C heat treatment temperature.
