PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition having good rigidity, thermal stability and molding processability. SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin composition is a composition comprising (A) 100 pts. wt. of an aromatic polycarbonate (component A), (B) 0.1-50 pts. wt. of a phyllosilicate (component B) having 50-200 mequivalents/100 g cation exchange capacity and (C) 0.1-50 pts. wt. of a compound (component C) having affinity for the aromatic polycarbonate (component A) and a hydrophilic component and preferably further (D) 0.005-1 pt. wt. of a formulation, etc., of a partial ester and/or a full ester (component D) of a higher fatty acid with a polyhydric alcohol. The composition has the melt volume rate MVR (cm<SP>3</SP>/10 min) measured at 250°C under 2.16 kg load and the viscosity-average molecular weight Mv satisfying formula (I) MVR+(Mv×0.003)>65 (I).
