PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article sorting system capable of tracing and managing a quality control information based on each article unit for articles such as a green grocery. SOLUTION: In an article sorting system performing an identification process to identify the quality of articles transported one by one and separating the articles based on the result of the identification process, an input device 1 inputting a specified information specifying at least a producer or a production place of an apple group 7 and a quantity of articles contained in the article group, a specific information adding device 5 adding the specific information to each apple of the apple group 7 which internal quality and external quality are detected and a control device 2 controlling the timing of adding the specific information of the each apple to the specific information adding device 5 after associating the specific information input by inputting device 1 with each apple to be transferred are provided.
