A cancer marker nucleic acid which is hybridizable with the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 or a base sequence complementary thereto under stringent conditions; and a method of testing canceration wherein a biological sample is judged as cancerous in the case of showing a significantly higher transcriptional level of the above nucleic acid than that in a normal biological sample employed as a control.
