The electrical machine has a rotatable external rotor and a stator coaxial to its axis of rotation that narrows towards the rotation axis and contains a stator winding. The stator consists of a core element and a comb-shaped element (1). The comb-shaped element is fitted with the stator winding and is arranged a ring around the core element, whereby it is supported on the core element at the free end of its radially inward-facing comb teeth (4,5).
