摘要 PURPOSE: A method for selectively removing uranium ions, radioactive nuclide, metal ions and salts in waste solution by electrosorption is provided to treat uranium ions, radioactive nuclide, metal ions and salt having concentration of 1 ppm or less by selectively adsorbing uranium ions, radioactive nuclide, metal ions and salts of low concentration, an adsorption material used in the method is provided, and a fabrication method thereof is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for selectively removing uranium ions, radioactive nuclide, metal ions and salts in waste solution by electrosorption comprises the electrosorption process of selectively removing uranium only in waste solution containing high concentration nitrate-nitrogen salts by treating an activated carbon fiber electrode adsorbent that is an electrosorption electrode with neutral salt, thereby giving anion groups to an electrosorption electrode material so that nitrate-nitrogen does not approach an electric double layer region of the electrode adsorbent, but exists in a diffusion region to prevent consumption of nitrate-nitrogen due to reduction of the nitrate-nitrogen, wherein the electrosorption process of selectively removing uranium only comprises a step of stripping the solution for 40 minutes or more using N2 gas(11) as agitating the waste solution before inflow of a waste solution(14) containing various radioactive nuclide (or metal ions and salts); a step of flowing the waste solution in an electrosorption cell through a waste inlet(7) using peristaltic pump(13) as continuously agitating the waste solution using agitator(12); a step of electrosorbing the radioactive nuclide as radioactive nuclide that is an electrosorption object is being adjusted to available electric potential in which Faraday's reaction does not occur using a potentiostat (EG&G M273) comprising an activated carbon fiber working electrode(2) mounted between filter paper(1) and Pt mesh(3), an Ag/AgCl reference electrode(4) and a Pt wire counter electrode(5) as the flown in waste solution is passing through a PTFE chamber(6) after passing through the filter paper; and a step of collecting the electrosorbed solution through a sample tube(9) of fractional collector(10) via a waste outlet(8).
