IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD, REFORMING METHOD AND SOUND EVALUATING METHOD OF IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cope with the noise on the basis of an objective sound evaluation even if the image forming speed has several different modes.

SOLUTION: The sound generated from an image forming apparatus is measured to lead out a discomfort probability P with the predetermined estimation formula on the basis of a mental acoustic parameter obtained from a result of the measurement. Each part of the apparatus is designed so that the lead-out discomfort probability P satisfies the predetermined condition (step S1) to manufacture the image forming apparatus restricted in generation of uncomfortable noise (step S2). The image forming apparatus allowing to reduce the uncomfortableness to be given to a person by the generated operation noise is thereby provided.
