PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating device having a structure in which a C shape inductor or a lower part inductor is separated from a power supply part to support them, respectively, by distinct carriages, making the carriages small in size and light in weight, and separating the inductors from the power supply part to facilitate the maintenance of the device. SOLUTION: Two carriages 8a, 8b are disposed on a rail 7 perpendicular to a conveying direction of a heated plate-like material to be conveyed on a steel hot rolling line, a C shape inductor 1 with heating coils 4 wound around top and bottom iron core base parts 2a, 2b pinching an opening part 3 of a C shape iron core 2 is mounted on a forward carriage 8a, a high frequency power supply part 10 with a capacitor and a water supplying mechanism on a backward carriage 2b, the power supply part 10 and the inductor 1 are connected by a flexible bus bar 13 and a cooling water hose 14.
