PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem that since a paper guide shaft provided to prevent a continuous printing paper from curling is not movable, the gap between a heat roller and the paper is narrow and the paper burns or turns yellow when printing is not carried out. SOLUTION: In a continuous paper printer having a fixing device using a paper guide shaft for setting a paper path after the paper is clamped between the heat roller and a pressure roller in the tangential direction of the heat roller and pressure roller, the paper guide shaft is moved in interlocking with movement of the pressure roller.
