PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator allowing even a small dew receiving container to be able to receive water drips falling from a heat absorbing part without spilling. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator 1, a door body 22 is openable fitted to the opening part 6 of a refrigerator body 2 and the heat absorbing part 11 is exposed to the inside of the inner container 4 of the refrigerator body 2. The portion of the heat absorbing part 11 near the end part thereof is formed in a generally vertical plate-like part 11A, the dew receiving container 9 is installed just below the plate-like part 11A, and the height H of the rear upper edge 9A of the dew receiving container 9 is formed shorter than a distance L between the lower surface of the inner container 4 and the lower end of the plate-like part 11A. Thus, water content condensed on the surface of the heat absorbing part 11 falls from the plate-like part 11A in an narrow range and is accumulated in the dew receiving container 9, and the dew receiving container 9 is not brought into contact with the plate-like part 11A when the dew receiving container 9 is removed to prevent water from spilling.
