PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermostatic chamber which is used in a broad temperature range, broadly versatile, compact in size, light in weight, excellent in transference, used preferably for examining a temperature sensor and transferable to a plurality of places for operation; and in which measurement is possible at a low temperature in a short time even after measurement is carried out at a high temperature by decreasing a heat medium temperature in a liquid chamber in a short time; and from which a heating medium and a device are rapidly recovered. SOLUTION: The thermostatic chamber is provided with a liquid chamber; a heat insulating layer, which is fitted onto the outer circumference and bottom of the liquid chamber; a thermometer which measures a heat medium temperature in the liquid chamber; a heater which heats the heat medium in the liquid chamber; a stirring motor having a stirring blade on its end for stirring the heat medium in the liquid chamber; a cooling part having a radiator and a cooling fan which are provided continuously on the outer part of the liquid chamber and cool the heat medium; a pump which is immersed in the liquid chamber and circulates the heat medium between the liquid chamber and the radiator; a motor for the pump; and a control part which controls the heater, the stirring motor, the motor for the pump and the cooling fan in accordance with a setting temperature.
