PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the amount of balls stored despite of small lateral width and depth. SOLUTION: In a vertical ball gutter 6, a central rod 12 extended in the vertical direction is fixed inside a cylindrical vertical case 11, the upper and lower sides of which are closed, and a spiral blade 13 such as a screw is fixedly provided on the outside of the central rod 12, thereby forming a spiral slope 14 taking the central rod 12 in the center in the vertical direction inside the vertical case 11. When balls P supplied from a supply system 9 are introduced into the spiral slope 14 through a ball intake port 21, the balls P take a form as if they meander front and back and right and left along the spiral slope 14 so as to necessarily increase the amount of balls stored in the vertical ball gutter 6.
