The auxiliary drive for a pram has a telescopic shaft (1) attached to the handlebar (14) and depending from it. The shaft carries a ground engaging wheel at its lower end. The wheel (2) is driven by a battery operated electric motor (6). The electronic control for the motor can be programmable for start-stop, forward, reverse, continue, speed and distance.
