<p>The invention concerns a pay television system wherein selecting and validating an impulse purchase are carried out by the user by display on a screen of a programme schedule. The user's selection of a particular programme of his own choice from the schedule is subsequently validated in the system by an Electronic Management Message (EMM), said message being specific for an impulse purchase. In order to authorise immediate display of the selected programme, an impulse purchase-specific EMM is contained in the data attached to the programme schedule display.</p> |
